Caring For Your Cool Bed
Cleaning - Cool Beds are easy to use and care for. You should spot clean with low-sud detergent. You can also soak your Cool Bed briefly in water with a healthy splash of distilled vinegar and 1 scoop of oxygenated cleaning powder. Never put your Cool Bed in the washing machine or dryer.
Preventing Mildew - Allow your Cool Bed to completely dry out once every two weeks. Depending on the humidity where you live, it can take anywhere from a few days to a few weeks for your Cool Bed to completely dry out by evaporation. You will know it’s dry when it feels like it did when you got it in the mail; the crystals inside are hard and you can hear them rattle when you shake the Cool Bed.
Storing Your Cool Bed
When you want to store your Cool Bed, dry it out completely as described above. We recommend storing it flat, but you can fold it as long as you are sure it's completely dehydrated. Never store your Cool Bed wet, damp, or in any type of air tight bag or container.
